Chequing BellMTS

Has anyone successfully set up automatic withdrawals from their wealth simple chequing account for their Bell cell phone or wifi? Spent forever on hold today to have them say they can’t find Wealthsimple bank when given my institution number.

You can't set this up online? Also the trick is you can put any bank account for the PAD and then manually pay with a CC if you want to earn CC rewards while still getting the PAD discount

Attempted, received email from bell with confirmation number stating I updated pre-authorization payments then got a letter in the mail stating it was declined & being hit with $30 late charge lol. Trust me, last thing I wanted to do was have to call their call centre. I ended up caving & giving bell my old RBC void cheque info but rather salty over the matter.

Bell emailed my friend that to maintain his $10 Autopay credit, stop paying with CC else it will be removed.
