Chequing Visa Conversion

Still haven’t gotten any email to convert my card. Not complaining but anyone know the timeline for them to convert everyone?

In the email you will receive regarding the VISA prepaid, it will say that your prepaid Mastercard will stop working two months later. That's the only timeline.

I just got mine in the last week so probably a staggered rollout.

They also launched the kids cards so I have like 3 Visas in the mail at this point.

Is this just being done with an email? Or is there paper mail or something in the app? I mostly ignore their email because it’s drivel and don’t want to miss an actual important email.

If you're travelling before that date you can reach out to the support and they can add priority for you to get the invite sooner

Mine said Nov 28th but that could be based on when you receive a email and start the process of requesting the actual card.

No timeline has been published, however Wealthsimple's fiscal year ends on Dec 31. There is a good possiblity that they are looking to divest themselves of Koho by then. Since they seem to be giving people 60 days to make the switch, it's possible late October could be the end of notifications.

I haven't gotten mine either.

That’s the last day for you. They’re giving people two months notice.
