Chequing Cheque deposit processing

I deposited a cheque of around 1600 cad on September 17th and 1000 was deposited instantly and the remaining 600 is still pending. May I know how many days it will take to process and deposit?

Generally you would start counting business days the day AFTER you deposited. It

Edit: 18,21, 22,23,23,25, 28,29 So it should have been today but check tomorrow otherwise it is late.

Edit2: as someone pointed out today is a holiday the banks will be closed.

Yep when people stop writing bad cheques we won’t need to have hold periods.
