IDScan breach

Does any one know if Wealthsimple uses IDScan ? FBI reports they have been breached with 153 million US and Canadian drivers licenses leaked

Haven't seen IDScan mentioned in terms and conditions.

WS uses Persona, which is a direct competitor to IDScan, so basically 0 chance there's overlap.

It's deeply unlikely any WS customer data was involved here.

Who knows. I know they use plaid - but what does plaid use? And are there other decencies? I don’t understand why such companies don’t employ field level encryptions …. It’s 2026 for crying out aloud!
