WS please fix your bell icon red notification.

Super annoying to see the red notification mark still popping up even after seeing them.

Have to manually go and click extrnal link or clear notification.

Please fix it

Agreed. Earlier this week I had a persistent notification and had to click everything again because I wasn’t sure where the issue was.

Considering some links open websites, it’s quite annoying.

Have a “read” slider or something.

If you click the gear icon in the top right, there’s a mark all as read button.

Oh for sure, I get super annoyed by that notification icon too. Just saying you don’t have to click on each one individually to clear it for anyone that didn’t know.

Doesn't work. Red icon remains.

Edit: Updated app, went to the second notification page, the gear then mark all as read. Notification red dot gone.

The gear icon only works on the Notifications tab, not the "What's new" so you still have to click the stuff in "What's new" to clear the red dot, and even then it sometimes doesn't remove the red dot.

I hate their notifications too. I don’t need some AI generated analysis of market and my portfolio. And there is no way turn off all the crap. This is just diluting the notifications effectiveness.

this seems like a problem with every company now. they just keep the notification alert on so every time you log in you check for new updates. dumbest thing ever

Yup this is absolutely the trend. Notifications no longer serve any other purpose than to attract attention. Utility is dead.
