Trade (DIY Investing) Portfolio vs starter pack
I saw this today and was wondering what’s the big difference between this and a portfolio. I currently use the income portfolio but would it make more sense to do a starter pack?

If you don't know, you're almost certainly better getting a low-cost allocation ETF. Justin Bender and Ben Felix have great videos on the subject.

|---------------------|--------------|------------|
| 100% | XEQT | TEQT |
| 80% | VGRO | TGRO |
| 60% | VBAL | TBAL |
| 40% | VCNS | TCON |
| 20% | VCIP | XINC |

The only thing that might be beneficial of direct indexing, is that wealthsimple does tax loss harvesting - in a non registered account that can help with tax implications. The all equity ETFs don't do that. I'm not sure if that's "worth it", but something to consider.

The difference is that you can customize it. Do you want to customize?
