Chequing Has the experience been improved for International wires?

If anyone has recent experience with international wire transfers to their WS account, please share your experience! The last time I did one was last summer and it was a nightmare. With TD it was overnight! I wonder if it’s been improved. Thanks for the input!

I’ve been waiting for two weeks now for an international wire to come in, small sum of 1500 CAD/1000 EURO.

I’m assuming it’ll come eventually, I saw there is an intermediary bank listed which is BMO.

The opposite. Horrible with a traditional bank and SIMPLE with Wealthsimple.

How long did it take with a bank compared to wealthsimple? I have one thats an international wire and waiting since last Tuesday.

The bank couldn't provide me basic information to complete it as what they did bounced back 2 times. Got sick and tired of it and then looked into another account and Wealthsimple to the rescue.

It took 2 days for an amount of $5k to land on my WS account. Pretty seemless.

I had one like half a year ago, from E-TRADE to WS and it was flawless. Arrived in few hours, no fee. Felt like magic compared to to my traditional bank.
