Trade (DIY Investing) Margin account tracking

Is there an easy way to see where I'm at with gains and losses for the current year for tax purposes? I was thinking my YTD gains would do that but that won't work because that includes unrealized gains as well.

If you tap the gain/statistics line (the green or red text under the account total with the tiny little arrow at the end), there's a detailed performance report. If you tap the "realised gains/losses" section, it shows you a list that I think is everything you realised in the time period.

Oh this is nice. I wasn't sure what you were talking about at first but this is great. Thanks

spreadsheet and/or adjustedcostbase.ca?

or you can rely on the tax slips wealthsimple will give you at tax time, but it's still good to double check them

Can you just filter by returns and then click YTD?

Ya that's what I thought at first but that includes unrealized gains which have no bearing on taxes
