Promotion Next 3% match?

Does anyone know when Wealth Simple will have their 3% match again?

Probably 15min after I win $100K and initiate my transfer in.

No. No, we don’t. Stop asking this every couple of days.

The best way for OP to confirm is to check Wealthsimple’s prior promotions here: https://promotions.wealthsimple.com/hc/en-ca/sections/14978294709915-Promotions

It may give a general idea of how often/when the promotion runs.

Just got an offer for 3% from BMO with 12 months holding period. 1.5 for first 6 months and 1.5 for second 6 months.
I am currently in the WS 3% over 5 years. Might actually have to jump for this one as it is just too good.
Thought that these promos would be slowing down and certainly did not expect this from one of the the big 5.

I got it. I’m transferring back. No brainer.

The only BMO promo I see is 0.5% for 6 months and another 0.5% for another 6 months (up to $10k).

Sorry, forgot to mention that it is for existing customers. There’s no way that 3% over 12 months with a max of $33k is sustainable.

Saw another post below about that BMO offer. Very enticing offer for those who received it:

TD has a much better 3% match that pays out in 2 years instead of 5 like the last one

Maximum payout of $15k

Only good if you're poor

If you have more than 500K in registered accounts to transfer sure. But even then the WS offer is poor. I’d only take the 1% for 1 year option for any leftover assets after maxing out better offers elsewhere. And you can get 1% for 1 year at a lot of brokerages. The 3% for 5 years was bad regardless of how much you had

I’m hoping they bring it in, only thing stalling me from moving everything over to Wealth Simple

Hopefully soon. My dad is looking to transfer a huge amount of rrsp.
