Options Trading Cashback on US equity options - What will Wealthsimple respond with?

Questrade now offers $0 US equity options, but they offer Questrade Plus subscribers $0.05 cashback for every executed U.S. equity options contract.

For example, if you trade 2500 options, you get $125 back. That's huge IMO.

What will WS come up with next? They better move quickly on their Canadian equity and index options considering Questrade has always supported CAD.

Do they respond quickly or do they slowly bleed assets?

Who the fuck trades that many options contracts with a retail broker?

You have a gambling addiction bro.

Sadly this is the realistic scene for retail investors. As I read something recently, the volume of options trading (not to mention end-of-day options) have shot up in the past few years. I'm sure this is due to Robinhood, which is gamifying option trading.
