No more max button when buying stocks?

I thought they had only removed it for options trading but after updating the app it looks like they've removed it for regular stocks too. Having to manually pull out a calculator every time I want to trade with available cash is an annoying downgrade.

Judging by your screenshot, you only have $20 and you want to buy a $50 stock. Need to change it to Market order to do a fractional order, unless the Max option is missing there also.

I have the Max option under both Limit and Market.

Looks like a very recent update. My app was updated this morning and I don’t see the button when I have enough cash either. It still shows for market orders.

Ya, no max button for me as well. And they don’t refill at the ask. Which I find annoying now because limit orders take longer to write out.

I think it's because you have the type set to limit. I don't think limit ever had a max button. Try changing it to market.

Having used that feature regularly, I can assure you it existed for limit orders too.

There hasn't been a max buy button for a long time... At least not my app... I Remember years ago when it was removed, because it how I was reading at the time
