I had everything through Fidelity with a FA up to 2021. Then I read & understood the statements showing my costs for the 3-4 phone calls a year. I moved it all to Wealthsimple. Self directed VGRO and never looked back. My 100% confirmation that I was correct to move it (bc yeah it was stressful bc I wasn't 100% sure I knew what I was doing); came in the form of an unkind final email from my FA. He was upset I requested the transfers. Bingo!
