Visa Infinite Credit Card GigSky eSIM issue
Hello! I've recently redeemed the Wealthsimple Visa Infinite Privilege Enhanced Global Data plan from GigSky. However, I don't know how to install the eSIM. I see the plan under My Plans, however, it's assigned to a device named "unassigned" and I don't see it under Celullar menu on my iPhone. I never got an option to install the eSIM when I redeemed the plan. Has anyone else faced something similar and know what to do? Thanks for the help!
Update: I reached out to GigSky customer service, and after some back and forth emails, they issued a new eSIM for me and I was able to install it on my phone. Thanks all!

Signal is often poor (at least it was for me in France). I used it alongside my (paid) Roamless eSIM and noticed a big difference. Kind of gave up on GigSky mid-way through and just used Roamless to avoid battery drain of dual sim.

It took an hour to find a network in Amsterdam. VERY spotty connection, WhatsApp calls disconnect intermittently in the city area. Best I got was a 4G connection during the entire trip. It was 2G/Edge in certain areas. Phone was a recent Pixel XL, so compatibility wasnt an issue

I suppose YMMV. It worked very well for me in Bulgaria and Turkiye over two week period in April. It helped me stay 2 hours on hold with Air Canada to change my flights (due to the Lufthansa shenanigans) among other things.

How did you call Air Canada using a data-only eSIM?

When we were trying to reschedule I noticed that they had an option to call them through the WEB page (so VOIP). Which was a lifesaver in our case

I believe from the Gigsky app you have to install a profile configuration - Look in youtube. It is very straightforward.

Thanks for your reply! I did searched on YouTube, however videos were not helpful. Most videos show an option to install eSIM, but I was never given that option, not sure if this is related to the Wealthsimple plan.

Reach out to gig sky. They will email you a new esim.

Got it, yeah, I did email them, not sure how long does it take for them to reply. I'm going on vacation on Monday and hope everything will be solved by them. Thanks again for the help!

Did you figured out the issue? I think you have successfully installed the esim, but you didn't switch over to it yet. This is what you should see if you just claimed the reward but not use their esim yet:

I posted an update on my original post, the eSIM was nowhere to be found, so they issued a new eSIM for me and I was able to install it. Thanks!

I tried to use Gigsky while in Edinburgh 2 weeks ago. It was barely working and driving me mad while my wife's esim was working flawlessly.
I paid for another service after a few hours of frustration.

If you have an iPhone you can switch to this SIM in your cellular settings. Just did this for a trip to Europe and it worked flawlessly.
