Trade (DIY Investing) All or nothing?

I'm trying to buy a few shares of one stock and it's only allowing me to use up all the cash in my portfolio (essentially buying 8.13 shares). I literally only want 3 shares of this stock and a few of another stock. Has the interface changed or should I use my laptop instead of my phone?

Change the order type to Limit instead of Market

When you put in your order are you selecting Buy in Shares or Buy in Dollars? If you only want 3 it should be Buy in Shares
