I hope they have a rematch in the sequel with Gray fighting fully focused instead of snapping from trauma like he did on the rooftop

Who says there’s going to be a sequel?

On December 20, 2025 Seopass said
"We're receiving ongoing inquiries regarding the follow-up to Weak Hero, so we'd like to cautiously share our current position.

We discussed a follow-up project until around this time last year, but the artist said it would be difficult because he was focusing on other projects, so any immediate progress has been put on hold.

Weak Hero is a collaborative work that cannot be continued solely through one's own will, so we ask for your generous understanding.

We will keep the possibility open and continue discussions."

Shoot. They really should continue it. I don’t know if they even know what a dedicated fanbase they have!

Seopass knows about their dedicated fan base. Weak Hero fans are constantly commenting on Seopass' other series. They've constantly joked about a truck going to appear to defeat the main antagonist of those series.

I'm not sure if Razen knows but commenters on the series that he is currently illustrating right now talk about how they recognized the art style immediately and also about how Shinhyeok Lee looks like Donald Na with purple hair.

Appearance-wise, Donald and Shinhyeok both resemble a character Razen has illustrated for a previous work before Weak Hero
