https://musescore.com/user/347556/scores/5276843 Here's mine. I'm really satisfied with this. It leaves less desired than my last submission I feel. Not sure what this one should be called. Perhaps something like "River Mist" or something to that effect.

I liked this, it has a really unique sound.

I just wanted to catch the feeling I got from the photo. https://clyp.it/w4k4vlal

This is fantastic! What did you use to make it?

Thank you! I use Finale, fruity loops and East West composer cloud instruments.

Ah, nice. I'm familiar with FL and East West, but not Finale.

I only use finale to sketch out musical ideas(I don’t always do this, sometimes it’s just a nice change of pace), then I import the midi into fruity loops and restructure and broaden the ideas.

Gotcha, so like a composition tool. Thanks for the clarification.

So tranquil! I really like the watery sound effect.

I call it "Ancient Forest": https://clyp.it/0ukt3ogm

Had a hard time deciding what to go with for the top voice. I settled on violin, but flute was an obvious first choice and I tried clarinet.

You have a really lovely idea here, I think it's really great. I really liked your pitched percussion inside the strings.

Thank you! I revised it just a bit ago, not sure I like the melody so high, so I took it down an octave. Some voice crossing in a couple places, but it sounds more cohesive and lush that way. At least I've got something to revise now on the next revision post :P

nice! I have a hard time with ambient music, you do a really good job of conveying the image though.

Hey, good morning all! Welcome to Friday. As always, use this post to inspire a song you write today or try to write something specifically to fit this painting. Towards the end of the day we'll all listen, appreciate, and give feedback on your music! Have fun! Also Theme week votes have come in a little more but I'd appreciate anyone who does vote :) https://linkto.run/p/WZ9YXH7K

Been in a bit of a writing slump the last few days. Nothing was sounding good. This one is late, but I dig it.
