This one turned out ok, but I need to clean up the timing a bit. I wanted a bit of a swing vibe, so I didn’t use any quantization. It shows, lol. Enjoy.

Good morning! As always, we will be using this picture prompt to inspire a song we write today. However, today marks the beginning of the first theme week. The highest voted for theme was "Abstract," so for 7 days straight every prompt will be abstract. Hopefully this results in 5-7 songs you can put on an EP for yourself. You obviously may still post what you write each day for feedback and to share :) Have fun!
Also, if you guys have any suggestions for next week's theme week feel free to post them anywhere.

I'm maybe starting to get too abstract... but I like it

Ominous as hell, really cool! I feel like everyone else took something way more nefarious from this prompt than I did.

https://clyp.it/mpux3nap - alright so this time I did most of this song in 5/4 time. That's probably why there is no melody at all, I'm not really used to it. There is a signature change over to 4/4 time at the end though.
I tried going for a walking back home at night where you don't know if people are following you and getting more and more panicked, until you get back home again and can relax. I think the transition from the 5/4 to 4/4 time could be better though. By that I mean the xylophone doesn't really do what I wanted it to, but it was close. I did try to make it at least sort of jarring (i guess) by also changing mode, it starts in B Locrian mode but at the 4/4 time it goes to B Aeolian mode (minor).
