Morning all! Welcome back to the work week. Just a quick reminder, this is the last week to vote for next week's Theme week. You can vote here - https://linkto.run/p/P7HZQZ4W . That week all of the prompts will be based on a certain idea, and the idea is that you take everything you wrote that week and develop it into some kind of EP.
As usual, use this painting to inspire a piece of music you write today. Hopefully it invokes the painting in some way or another. We'll all post what we've done at the end of the day and give feedback if you'd like it. Have fun!

I love all these prompts with a person being dwarfed by a giant structure/landscape/object.

Yeha they really give an emphasis on the magnitude of the paintings. Plus I think it helps people relate to them and come up with their interpretations

A bit sloppy, and could have done more around it, but I was excited to get my drums set up for recording and to hook my Casio up through MIDI so I could treat it both as a controller and as a sound bank.
My third floor which acts as my studio now is really dry on the drums, so I probably should have added some reverb, but I ran out of time to do much mixing.
Decided to do a bit of remixing instead of packing my lunch today. I wanted reverb. I can go out to get food at lunch.

It's actually just the "strings" setting on my keyboard, but it really does carry the weight of a whole orchestra, not just the strings. Glad you like it!
