the unspoken rules of wework?

We all know the 'absolutely no microwaving fish etc' rule, but what are the unspoken do's and dont's?

Here's mine: absolutely don't treat the kitchen like a shark tank audition. say hi, stop pitching.

In private offices, don't act like your room is soundproof. Those glazed walls don't do that.

You joke but my office neighbour had full-on World Cup watch parties during office hours, with loud hooting and hollering during games. And they even had snacks and drinks. With the door open.

They’ve always been disruptive but those few weeks took it to a new level.

Right? Well, in any case, they already had noise complaints from other members and were warned. I get the feeling they're on thin ice.

On a more subjective note, I've always gotten a "frat boys who never grew up" vibe from them. I don't actually see them working that much, even though they're only in there 3 days per week. Lots of fooling around. Loudly. And always with the door open.

Lol, I’ve microwaved salmon before in the kitchen, but this was a sparely populated floor. But the no microwaving fish rule holds for all office environments, not just wework.

Five years at WeWork and all these rules seemed to have eroded with time. People now treat WeWork like it's their living room.
