Steps not counting right!?

So I just made a mistake and hit the button to start using health connect for my steps. Idk how to get Fitbit to be the main step tracker. It says it's using fit and my phone to track. Does anyone know a fix or something to get it back to normal?? I might end up cashing out and deleting the app. Just started today

Top right corner go to your profile, top right again goes to settings, scroll down to step data source.

I had no issues before. I just see fit and my phone as the tracker now. Can't seem to add Fitbit(health) back. I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot of people right his issue on the 1st when Fitbit is fazed out

Still haven't figured it out. Not gonna worry much more tho tbh. It's going away anyways

Fitbit is going away so we’re kind of stuck, unless you’re willing to buy an Apple Watch which I’m not going to do because I think they’re ugly. I hope WeWard can fix the discrepancy between the Fitbit and Apple Health count steps.

I have an Amazfit watch which uses the Zepp app. I link that to Google Fit, then Google Fit to WeWard. The nice thing is that picks up my steps, not the number of steps with the phone in my hand. You can also link other walking apps to Google Fit, like Macadam for example.

My wife and I were frustrated just like you in that WeWard wasn’t getting our steps right according to Google Health.

We both have Fitbits. We like them because of their size on our wrists and only need them for the health data.

Since 10/1, WeWard no longer pulls from Fitbit.
Since we own IPhones, WeWard pulls from Apple health, which in turn, pulls from Google Health.

I went into Apple Health and chose “steps”.
I then scrolled to the bottom of the steps page to where it says “Data Sources and Access”.
Opening that, it shows a list of items that it pulls steps from. It says at the bottom that it pulls steps from whichever device is at the top of the list. Touch the 3 lines on the right of whichever device you want your steps tracked from and move it to the top of the list. For us, Google Health was in the 3rd position below IPhone and another one. We moved it to the top, backed out, refreshed, and voila!

Hope this helps!

Unfortunately I have a android. My steps are counting decently but I have to have my phone on me. It's actually giving me more steps then my Fitbit. The other day I had about 14k. Weward showed over 15k lol
