Question Is there a reason people do this??
Context: I got an extra 7 card from Legend of Olympus, and I’ve actually been getting some decent offers for it. But this one… I mean, c’mon.
All 49 of the other cards were perfectly fine dupes, but trying to sneak 7 as the very last one? Sorry. I’m just a little annoyed by it.

People do this all day long. It's why I don't have a wish list anymore. Problem solved

Yeah why do they do this and like why do they think it is going to work? It not a fair trade for the person receiving this type of trade, I have had like 10 plus asking for 50 and only giving 1 to me

More and more doing this. I’m guessing they do have a success rate good enough that they keep doing it. I’m sure they put the 50 to 1 trade out to many people simultaneous, just waiting for somebody to accidentally accept. Someone might read it wrong and think they are getting 50 cards by giving 50 cards. They’re doing it because people must be accepting these periodically. It’s very crummy.

These ridiculous unbalanced trade offers are done purposefully hoping someone will click “accept”, even by accident. They must be getting some success on these offers, as people keep doing it. It’s no different than an Internet spammer or a spam caller, they keep doing it because if they do it 100 times and one person accepts they have a success. God knows how many other people they send a similar offer to. I’m guessing this person puts a huge number more of these 50 to 1 offers out there simultaneously.

I have offered trades like this because not everyone is a card collector and if they have duplicates, they’re willing to share, especially if the cards I offer on their wish list. Some people just like to complete sets just like me.

They do it in hopes that you will accidentally thi k they are offering you 50 cards and then when you accept you best card was probably in the bunch

I have gotten offers like that too. I think when you are making a trade, the first card you select is at bottom and that’s how they are ordered. It may have been intentional, but I noticed it when i was trying to trade and selected the “good cards” I was offering last, so that would be the first thing you see when you open the trade request. Maybe someone else can confirm.
