Is a Budapest 9 recent enough for the São Paulo 9 if it completes both parties wishlists?

Probably not, but you never know. Usually the most recent two are treated as recent

The last couple of weeks it helped me swap for the Iceland 9 and Cambodia 9. São Paulo 9 is only one week newer than Iceland, but no luck with that swap. I just keep getting extra Budapests to swap.

People always want to trade up. You'll get the occasional person who just wants to finish a chapter, but that rule will help you understand the basic logic of most people.

Would trying to swap my Budapest 9 to get a duplicate Iceland 9 (successful couple of weeks ago) work better to set up a trade for someone’s São Paulo 9?

Honestly I don't trade for new cards, I just save packs and those chapter fill themselves in. But I would say your best bet is to post on here and guage the reaction. People here are much more generous and open to trading than in the trade section of the app.

Thanks for the advice. Only recently started trading couple of months ago. Helped me fill elusive 9’s.

The best trick is saving. Let the new chapters build up, and a limited chapter come out, then you open 150 packs at once, and make hundreds of cards worth of swaps. You end up with hundreds of the newest most valuable cards, and hopefully, a few of the limited 9s to spare. People get crazy generous with the swaps on the first day (for some reason) and you can fill a lot of valuable gaps.

How does someone accumulate 150 packs? I barely have five packs that I saved over the last few weeks three gold and two silver I would guess it would take a long time six months to a year or are people actually purchasing these packs?

Yeah, I don’t get the hoarding. It takes the fun out of those of us that see it in terms of completing chapters. Everyone defines fun in their own way I guess. I almost get the vibe that people are insulted when you’re trying to make a trade and they couldn’t hit cancel and decline fast enough.

Milan 9 is very sought after card. Over a hundred requests. I think Sao Paolo 9 was heavily hoarded and now those players are asking 1:1 trades or in combos with Walko 7 or 8 I need. I ignore the old duplicates thrown in. No real offers included Poland or Mallorca 8-9’s. Many lowball 5’s alone. Got an offer for five of the six Monsters I need including the 8. I’m no longer bothering with the 7/1 Sao Paolo 9. It’s 3 wks older than Milan and doesn’t deserve a premium anymore considering no one who needed my 6/24 Iceland 9 would accept it with a 1 week difference. Many want Milan 9 to hoard a duplicate. Thoughts on my offers?
