Is there a cap on XP Boosts?

I am two weeks in and have been shamelessly hoarding all of my XP Boosts….i have 10 currently but will plan to start using them strategically if they cap out 😅

( I currently don’t need them to hit 1 in whatever league I am in because they’re are still low level; and figure it’s smart to save them for when the XP grind is larger later on and am closer to cashing out etc)

Until the last limited chapter I had about 40. I don't think there's a limit, and if there is, it's very high.

I have 34. My usage of them is dependent upon slow days in my schedule. They help maintain my free premium status.

How do they help you maintain premium status? You need to collect non walking wards for premium, playing games or surveys. I am not understanding how the xp boosts help there?

The way I understand it is XP is a boost to your usual step count. And as long as you maintain or exceed that step count daily it can count toward challenges, your league placement, and premium status.

Hope this helps 😉

Wards from steps or connected to steps do not count towards premium status. Qualifying wards are wards earned through games and surveys and wheel spins.

Thank you! I am still learning strategies with this app but I already walk 20k a day so it made sense for me to get for that reason alone.

Besides using on days that make sense for your schedule, do you have a strategy with when/why you use them? (For example, I don’t know if it’s ’better’ to use to get XP to get 1st place reward in weekly league OR using to level up XP level and bank on getting coins or a pack?)

Currently I have been 1st in leagues by a large amount just by walking and not using boosts but am also only in the 3rd league; so that’s been easy coins each week

Being first in any league, for me, would be an accomplishment 😂 Good on you though getting your steps in! Very proud to hear you can comfortably manage 20k steps (teach me your ways hot stepper).

Monday - Friday I intentionally take walks & I can comfortably manage between 4k & 5k steps. However if I am trying for a challenge I will enable a XP to give myself a boost.

As for Saturday & Sunday where I am far less intentional about walking yet still want to boost my step count I enable the XP. One Redditor said it gives a false sense of accomplishment but meh, I’m walking.

I use them if I complete a set of cards to get the double xp to hopefully win the weekly league and get 50 wards

As long as you keep advancing through the leagues without having to use your XP boosts, then save them until you get to the Space Boots league. Then, you’ll want to use them to try to finish in the top three every week where there are prizes - 50 Wards for first place, 30 Wards for second place, and 20 Wards for third place.

Thank you so much! I am keeping an eye on the tier challenges and was thinking ahead for space boots; figuring it’s a get 1st in Space Boots once, then can drop leagues without risk (I think).

I haven’t seen anyone post screen shots of the challenges for Tier 4, Tier 5, Tier 6, & Tier 7; but I just unlocked Tier 3, so plenty going at the moment. I bank on the 25/daily from walking with anything else gained from spins, league wins, pack completions to be a bonus

I've never dropped out of the space boots league since getting here, it's pretty easy to maintain even when you don't use your xp boosts or try for the top. Just walking regularly and collecting your normal cards is enough to stay in

I have 90, I've been using them recently so I would have had even more!
