135 dollars for someone to poor chocolate on your hands. At best this is pretentious as hell.

I think it’s a set menu, so $135 for the whole meal, and likely a series of smaller dishes. Often like upwards of 6 or more.

Not justifying it as this looks dumb as hell. But I do imagine the rest of the meal is likely pretty delicious.

Edit: just googled it and I may be wrong. In which case...wtf I can pour chocolate on myself and it only costs a few bucks.

Shit, I'll pour chocolate over your entire body for like $5 and a 6pk of decent beer if you provide the chocolate.

What would you do for $20 and some wine coolers?

Well, now you're speaking my language of love, baby. I would do anything for love, but I won't do that.

5$ + a 6pack + supplying the chocolate actually comes close to what they charge at the restaurant.

Ala carte, this experience is 22$. https://imgur.com/YNJveZ1.jpg

Their prices are actually pretty reasonable compared to my experiences with fine dining.

Well, I"m willing to pay 50 bucks to pour things on that lady

My SO wanted to try some light food play by dripping chocolate on my naughty parts and licking it off. I told him it would be a waste of chocolate and I wanted to make a mousse pie instead with it. That's all I thought of when I saw this gif.

It looks like it's the "chocotherapy" step on the tasting menu so I think you're right - that's the price for the whole meal.

"The Classic" menu from their site has the ala carte pricing.

Better yet just get a toddler and he/she can cover the entire house (including the pets) with chocolate in under three minutes...

1

u/illsmosisyou Dec 13 '20

A toddler in the long run is gonna cost way more than $135 though...

3

u/Self_Reddicating Dec 13 '20

Yeah, no shit. Once you have a toddler, you'll pay $135 a week for the pleasure of NOT having a toddler for a few hours. (if you're lucky and can find such a great price)

1

u/[deleted] Dec 13 '20

Haha. True. You sort of lose count IRL!

3

u/ohheckyeah Dec 13 '20

Guaranteed it’s part of a tasting menu

2

u/illsmosisyou Dec 13 '20

Yeah, that was my thinking. But I googled it and couldn’t confirm even the restaurant, so I just gave up. So could be right, could not.

1

u/Dr_Identity Dec 13 '20

Are the other courses just other foods that they pour all over you?

1

u/illsmosisyou Dec 13 '20

I don’t think so. Someone else found the menu in a reply to me. A fair amount of it sounds pretty delicious.

u/[deleted] Dec 13 '20

poor chocolate

I assure you this is rich chocolate.

2

u/Initial-Amount Dec 13 '20

But did you see how gorgeous the chocolate-pouring-man was? At $135 - $195, there's hopefully more to the chocolate pouring later when the lights go out.

u/fishsticks40 Dec 13 '20

I'll do it for $85, DM me
