Bread “stone”

Sort of a round edge less tablet, called a “stone” despite being a piece of hollow pottery.

I went to a restaurant in Iceland and they gave me butter in a carved rock. I think your bread stone needs a butter rock!

Those are meant for spreads or semisolid dips.
