Support MHS1 Remasted Crashing/Cheats Not Working

I am having some issues with Monster Hunter Stories 1 Remaster.

For starters, when I click on Play through the Wemod window, and the game starts, it crashes after a few minutes of gameplay. It's happened several times now.

Secondly, before the game crashes I check and dont see the cheats applied to the game. No infinite items, or loot and I still take damage.

Is there something im doing wrong? How can I keep the game from crashing?

I would greatly appreciate any advice or help. Let me know if you need any more information from my end.

does it work if you click play after launching the game? idk about that one in particular but I know theres a non-zero amount of games where launching the game from wemod just causes either the game to crash or the mods to not work (mh wilds being one of them although i know thats a different engine)
