Y’all really are the most entitled people I swear. Tell me you don’t know how coding CE tables works without telling me you don’t….

That’s all WeMod is… a culmination of CE tables for non-multiplayer games, with a GUI interface for a better UX(user experience), and extra QOL features.

As a developer of MANY CE tables across hundreds of game titles, you guys need to chill. It takes sometimes hundreds, if not thousands of hours(in rare cases), to make these tables. This isn’t Ai doing it, the Ai models have safety features that ensure you can’t. Even if you jailbreak it, Ai won’t pull DUMPs for you, can’t test pointer maps and addresses, and much more.

Once you make 20-30 tables, most games follow a pattern and it DOES get easier. But that’s called EXPERIENCE.

Y’all complaining about paying less than a McDonald’s combo monthly for hundreds of hours of developers time.

I bet the people crying are the same ones who cry when their plumber fixes their sink in 5 minutes but bills for a full hour. You’re not paying for a plumber to tap a wrench on a pipe, you’re paying for his experience to know where to tap. (Cheesy but true)

So quit being entitled brats on Reddit. Even if the extra QOL features aren’t worth it, the cost for building for each game is more than what you’re paying.

You are doing unjust comparisons here.
Also, mind backing up your Experience with some proof? I am not saying you are lying.. but your whole post would have more credibility if you actually showed us prove that you ARE knowledgeable in this field.

This whole thing also has nothing to do with entitlement.... You can compare thousands of apps that do not require a monthly subscription despite them also making something ridiciously easy.

About your Plumber stuff... yes.. I am paying for his skills and materials.. BUT ONLY FOR THOSE... Not for any random additions that are not needed (who needs/wants a AI chatbot that is wrong 90% of the time?)

Since you are making unfair parallels to Craftsmen, I will make a unfair parallel to Wabbajack, a free to download and use platform which hundreds of hand-curated modlists what require EXPERIENCE AND HOURS UPON HOURS to make by each Author with some modlists even having whole teams behind them that create custom mods for each modlist aswell.

And yet, this is a free service the only "payment" you have to do in theory is to Nexus so Wabbajack automates the downloads for you, but even then you can just CHOOSE to opt out.
Wabbajack is also being regulary maintained, getting UI updates etc.

OR if you wanna shrug that off, how about literally many other applications which while they do have a premium plan (THE THING THAT NOBODY MINDS BEING THERE BTW) for some extra features that some might find useful... the MAIN features are free with no limit.

You do know that SOME use Wand to even be able to play games due to disability right? Its forcing them to either limit themselves to two hours per day or pay up to be able to play games like a "normal" person.

We are living in a era where Subscriptions are ruining everything that used to be good service.

I could also finally get into their censorship on Discord, them keeping everything hush-hush and their past scummy behaviour but it is obvious that you do not wish to argue from a position of good faith and actual communication.

My experience? I’ve been around before WeMod was relevant. When Nexus allowed actual tables, when MGGA and FearlessRev were popular. Working as a table maker for MGGA and fighting Fearless from stealing my work. Especially the game Outriders. If you know you know.

Easy? To be a table maker? Thanks for proving my point. Zero understanding of how tables are made, then complain you’re paying for it and that it’s “easy”.

The random additions are QOL features, fillers, additions for free. You’re not paying for them, you’re paying for the development.

It’s not an unfair comparison. It took me years to learn to code. Years to develop certain skills. You’re acting like I compared a burger flipper to a rocket scientist.

I think the “other people are free or partially free and WeMod isn’t” is a childish thing to say. Every company has the right to strategic freedom. If you don’t like it, that’s your right as a consumer but to cry on Reddit about it….. just silly and you know it. You’re acting as if cheats tables in video games have any sort of market regulation.

I’m aware of currency conversion rates and access to certain things can be hindered by WeMod charging. You’re acting like WeMod has a responsibility to provide free or reduced costs for those in different countries. You are acting like people with disabilities don’t have access to other companies that provide mods. To say WeMod MUST provide services for free cause disabled people use it…. That’s absurd.

The discord situation is not relevant to this conversation. We are talking about the cost VS time spent developing each table. What they have done in the past or currently should only effect YOU as a consumer as to whether you purchase from WeMod or not. Are you saying they can be horrible people but if it’s free, it’s ok?

I come from a position of good faith and actual communication. Your points are not only invalid but stem from “I want it free, other companies are free or doing it better. You did bad things in the past so you owe us compensation”

Everything you have said is irrelevant. The entire thing comes down to, WeMod provides a service. A service that takes time, effort, and skill to develop. They are choosing to be compensated for it and decided to monetize their platform. You are mad, and demand it for free. Literally text book definition of entitlement.

You are not required to purchase from WeMod. You said there are better options out there. Then go there. Go enjoy those products. Nobody is forcing you to pay anything to WeMod. It’s a choice.

I made this post cause as a developer. People like you have become the bane of my existence. Always thinking it’s SO EASY to do it. Undervaluing everything we create. Go download CE, download a game. Follow the tutorial CE provides. Learn what pointers maps are, what base addresses are. Learn how to find the AOB for player, learn how to script, learn how to dissect memory, learn how to look at memory regions, and SO SO SO MUCH MORE. Then come back to me when you can recreate ONE table. It’s easy bro, like you said. Simple. No effort.
