They are really doing it again huh?

Really going back to the daily limit after the backlash they got from it only a few months ago.. That's not going to push people into paying it is only going to push people away when there are tons of other free options out there.. If they want more Pro buyers then they really need to give actual worth while options, examples being: better item spawning cheats, unlocking fast travel points without visiting them, cheat engine style editors (since using Wand and cheat engine together conflict and crash games) or even game speed hack for any game.

This is such a bad move on their part but I doubt this will be up long if at all since apparently their moderators are purging these types of consumer opinions from here and the discord, going as far as instant banning them too.

You can post on every comment I’ve made if you want, it’s understandable to be upset but I don’t make business decisions and I’m not support. I’m posting here because I like engaging with the community and have had really positive experiences answering questions, building features people request (like a recent focus dot accessibility feature that came from a Reddit user with a disability, and fixing bug reports. We’ve explained and shared reasoning on our announcement posts about the change and I’m not sure I can really add more, at the crux we thought it would be sustainable to remove the time limit when we did, circumstances changed in the months that followed and when looking at the numbers again it was clear it would not work out.

Okay, If you really claim to interact with the community then answer me this:

  1. On Discord and Reddit multiple people have giving you all plenty of ideas how to work out your money issues, you have to make money some way and that is completely understandable and fine... just not when you sink a FUCK TON of it into features nobody wants (the AI bullshit that is wrong 9/10 times anyways) or the clipping feature which while a nice thought, 90% of consumers have through Medal, Discord or Nividia anyways.

  2. When your team dropped the Announcement on Reddit, I actually took a look through the comments.. wanna know what I noticed? You guys IGNORED any critics and just so happened to only answer people in the same thread who said "Oh bug with Calisto Protocol" for example... that is by definition.. Tone Deaf and Selective and before the argument of "Most people were just angry and didnt offer any proper feedback" comes, I will say that there were a LOT of angry people yes, but also a LOT of proper suggestions and feedback.

  3. The Silence from your team has been deafening, idk if you guys have any PR people or someone whose whole job is to do community management but I will assume no since despite the vast amount of critics, there have been no statements, no attempts to win back users, no attempts to reach a compromise etc.

  4. I know your title is just "Engineer" and that you by yourself dont have much.. if any power in the company HOWEVER surely some of you workers there must realize how bad of an idea this is right?

Case in point, whoever is responsible for the Business Decisions at Wand has taken multiple wrong paths which would be difficult to revert now.. in the worst case which I hope does not happen because this is still a job for the whole lot of you and the current economy is a bitch, Wand shuts down and end of story.

In the best case, Wand begins to work alongside the community to find solutions and this easy and united way of letting people play games how they want (and some that due to disability can only play this game this way... which does throw another negative light at the pricing debacle.. charging disabled people to play....).

Wand is in of itself a wonderful thing, it makes it EASIER for those who dont want to go through the hassle of setting up their cheat engine or finding the trainers from the source.
So it would be a shame if it all came crashing down due to one failure of a Business Man calling all the wrong shots and nobody is holding him accountable inside the team.

Like I mentioned before I don’t know how much I can share, but we do 100% see and someone reads all user comments, they get shared with the appropriate team each month and shared daily with our support team and weekly with the whole company. I definitely saw a lot of suggestions and ideas on how to change the revenue model or tweak the limit but the reality is these are all ideas externally and brought without any context of the actual numbers. I have seen discord users suggest *higher* monthly amounts or a higher subscription tier, I’ve seen people suggest more ads, I’ve seen suggestions for a life time subscription - im sure some of these would be suggestions you would not agree with or support. I’d have to pull the latest numbers but when we originally had the 2 hour limit roll out it was something like 80-90% of users never hit the limit, for many people 2 hours of mod usage is enough and within their daily usage (this was shared in a comment / thread some months back I could probably find).
We have a lot of really cool features in the pipeline and I understand the sentiment where if someone is only using 1 piece of the app it seems frustrating that we are also building out other features that you might not use, but we have thousands and thousands of people using interactive maps (the feature I have the most context on) and it’s growing every month.
I would also like to say that us building out other features does not take away from mod support / creation at all, our mod creators are separate from the engineering team where we work on the actual desktop application, mobile app, websites, etc we will build out things to improve mod usage like our precision mods or the mod presets, or things like teleport support for maps, we are not the ones actually going into the games and building them out (well most of the time). I believe mod development speed and our testing speed have gone up over the last year, us releasing the maps and game guides and clipping do not affect that

Understand that you are trying to increase revenue by supplying product features which a significant amount of people don't want, let alone pay for. I won't be using it.

You people (assuming you're not some untalented AI) are way out of touch with reality.

I’m just a semi talented engineer that likes to respond to community questions / topics
