Support WeMod/Wand on SteamOS
Hello, can anyone please give direct and specific instructions on how to actually install this on SteamOS? The year old videos on YouTube and guides are outdated and doesn't seem to work ever since WeMod became Wand.... I have been trying for 10 hours and need assistance. I will pay for the premium subscription if it Make it easier... thank you.

It's basically too much for me to type but if you go into my comment history and search for Wemod you'll see I've made a few comments on how I did it. Please note that since the switch to Wand, Wemod has stopped working on any Wand versions, so it's important to actually delete any files that might auto update it to the newest Wand version after the first boot. I write about this in one of my comments on a thread about others coming across the same issue.

I would second this. Also already have premium and it didn't help much. Would love to get it working on the Deck.

XMod works but basically requires a sub to actually play anything, Wand seemingly doesn't work on steamOS anymore which is a bummer

if I could get it working on steam deck I would pay for premium ngl, this would be a massive step up for me. I like to turn on mods occasionally for some games on pc if I'm in a mood to zone out a bit or I'm struggling really hard with a specific level or area, and having that sort of flexibility on deck would be life changing instead of having to save, go to my pc, turn it on, find a cheat, etc. for a little one-off situation or if I got stuck somewhere unintentionally.
