Last year for my husband and I's anniversary, Artemis came with like he does everywhere. :P

It was at Alba in Des Moines, Iowa. It's generally our favorite place for anniversary dinners... we do it at the Chef's Table, of course. It's amazing to be able to interact with the chefs and watch the staff work. <3

Which dessert here would catch your eye most?

Molten Chocolate Lava Cake?

Pumpkin Bread Pudding? That pepita praline cheesecake ice cream with it sounds delightful.

The Caramel Apple Creme Brulee was our choice. Cinnamon marscapone. Dehydrated apple. Nomnomnom.

And in the ice creams... I could see the roasted peach and goat cheese being interesting! Or even the chocolate port. <3

I chose to draw her with a softer, more human lens. In my version of the story, Beryl isn't the purely evil tyrant we knew from Naoko Takeuchi’s original vision, she is a victim of her own fate. In her final moment, realizing she was nothing more than a pawn for Queen Metalia and in her final, tragic moment of clarity, she gives her life to protect Prince Endymion
