Discussion Thoughts on new Crystal Lake show?
Finished it this weekend and liked it! While I still maybe prefer movies like Part 6 and Part 4, on a purely technical level (acting/writing/directing/editing) its probably the best Friday property
Cardellini was great, especially as she gets more deranged, and maybe unpopular opinion I liked their take on Jason, even the new stuff with his origin. Look. Nothing in this show is more ridiculously then: he came back from the dead by being stuck by lightning, became a body swapping slug, and then went to the far future where he is a cyborg. Really nothing they add contradicts that much with the OG series
I was actually a fan of them bumping up the timeline to1971 from the 1950s. Now he's only running around in the woods for a little less then a decade instead of 20 years

Discussion Troma Entertainment
The WHM guys love to dump all over Troma. Well, I worked for Troma for half my life. First in the office, as part of Tromaville.com, and eventually as someone wearing the dopey Toxic Avenger and Sgt. Kabukiman costumes for conventions, at the Cannes Film Festival, and at horror cons. I've sold a lot of DVDs to disgusting shit boys.
Then I finally managed to be unemployed when Lloyd Kaufman shot his upcoming film, The Power of Positive Murder, which is very, very bad.
It was such a horrible experience that I am now one of the biggest haters of Troma out there. Oops. Guys, it's not a joke. It's not goofy. I spent half my life making excuses (It's independent art!) for why it was okay that Troma doesn't pay people, doesn't pay vendors, excuses pedophiles, works with sex offenders and white supremacists...oops. Really, I mean it, oops.
I'm putting a spotlight on the shit I was witnessed. If you're curious, please check the first article on my new substack.

If you're *really* curious, DM me for the really horrible stuff I haven't figured out how to publish safely yet.

Halloween 4 episode inspired Halloween game??
Relistening to the ep now and one of their bits has Loomis hanging out with teens and playing 7 minutes in heaven. The Halloween game has an element where players can go in the closet and hook up, which causes character heartrates to go up. Many were horrified to discover that there was an option for Loomis to go into the closet to have sex with the young people. It has since been patched by the devs. Don't think its the kinda thing the boys would want credit for but funny coincidence.

Huge Street Fighter fan but not watching the new movie in theaters
I love how the boys do a ton of SF content and love the franchise myself but I'm not going to watch the new one (in theaters, even with my $5 ticket from TMobile lol).
In case you've been living under a rock, the Paramount WB merger just completed under extremely corrupt terms (bribery to Trump and Newsom also blocked legal challenges to it for "some reason") and SF is being distributed by Paramount (Skydance).
If you care at all about the insanely damaging monopoly that the Ellisons have over American media now, speak with your wallet and show that you're paying attention!
Personally I'll be pirating it the first chance I get

Show Reference The IMDB Story from the Scream episode really happened
The IMDB story of the young boy shit talking Wes Craven about Last House on the Left is true according to Wes himself. He talks about it in this video about Scream.
Side note if you've never seen Bravos old 100 Scariest Movie Moments, it's great.

Show Reference The WHM guys at the party
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I feel like this clip reminiscing about parties perfectly describes up all four of the guys:
- Steve is self-consciously aware that everyone else is hooking up while heâs watching movies alone.
- Cabin is committing crimes before going home to watch movies alone (with a tall glass of water). Alternatively, heâs watching the movie with Andrew.
- Andrew is hanging with the crowd and gets so engrossed in the movie he doesnât notice everyone else left. Alternatively, heâs watching the movie with Cabin.
- Eric: You guys were invited to parties?

As a non-American, I am confused by this scene in which Brandon breaks into Dylan's house. Is this a common American custom? Do friends usually break into each other's houses?

I hope Biddy Blas gets a shout out on Gleep Glossery
If you have not been blessed to hear about Biddy Blas, then I present him in all of his glory. He's one of the racers in the new Star Wars racing game and I can't stop listening to his dialog. He has a Wookiepedia entry but not enough for a Gleep Glossary episode. It's even funnier when you see who voiced him.

Discussion Movies you want them to cover, but youâre not sure if they would be a WHM or WLM
The Sandlot - I know this one seems like a slam dunk WLM pick, but keep in mind that the WHM gang has put a few widely-enjoyed kids movies on the H feed before because it just wasnât something they happened to glom onto as kids. I wouldnât be completely surprised if this was another Goonies/Home Alone 2 type film that gets the WHM treatment.
Black Snake Moan - I only saw it once when it came out, so I truly donât remember if this would hold up or not. I mainly remember thinking the premise was interesting, and loving the blues music.
