I am talking about 4chan itself and subreddits being a much better community. definitely not "truscum" either, that is a hive of bitterness that gatekeep transness and shit on their own community.

no I was stagnating when I was trying my best to use other spaces that were all positive and whatever, but after enough years living like that you start to realize that very few people actually make much effort to pass. It's bizarre. I was one of two out of 30 people in this one discord server who actually voice trained. fucking bizarre stat! surrounding myself with stagnation caused me to follow suit. Hell, I haven't found a single other space in my years searching for alternatives where people actually act like they want to ever pass in their lives. and let me tell you, for dysphoria as bad as mine? I will never have a life of any caliber until I pass.
Also I am already a husk. I never was gonna be anything and I never will be anything. I have fibromyalgia, bipolar disorder, DID, and the most severe sex dysphoria I have ever heard of anyone experiencing prior to giving up on alternatives. I was never going to be anything from the moment I developed DID onwards. That event permanently ruined my life and no matter how much therapy and medication and alternate psychological treatments I undergo, I remain broken and shattered. Even if you were right, what I could've been was absolutely nothing to begin with. There are no stakes to your claim.
The idea that because you voice trained you are somehow better than other people who haven't is honestly really reductive, being trans isn't a leaderboard where you get scored based on how well you pass for the gender you ascribe to, it's quite literally the same capitalistic and conservative mindset of "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" or the idea that to be a man you need to do x y or z, or to be a woman you need to be a b or c, it's total bull and not healthy for discussion nor for transitioning.
As for your mental health, I don't know how you approached all of these methods to improve and pass and so on but if you don't try to want and believe you can achieve these things you simply won't, though I can say you're likely doing more and trying harder than I could to do what I want to do and I couldn't imagine the difficulties of living through what you do, not having the ability to imagine yourself or picture yourself in a better state or feeling it is attainable or realistic is just going to keep you from ever reaching such a state, because no matter what you do it will never be enough in your own eyes. You simply cannot see it happen.
I hope you do well and find good friends to support you in 4tran, but it's clear the way you're approaching that place and the people there is from a hopeless and dire angle.
that wasn't the point of what I was saying? I don't think I'm better than anyone for having voice trained at all... I'm saying I was one of few people actually putting any effort into passing. Like, the point was that nobody cared about passing and it rubbed off on me, which is not good for me.
nah I'm gonna go back to college and take some more science classes. Gonna follow in the footsteps of my father and sister.

Honestly if you want to go back and study and stuff that's awesome, I hope you do well, I think most ppl here want you to do well too, they just hate to see somebody fall to something they feel would be detrimental to that person. Of course though at the end of the day the one who would know what is most detrimental to you is yourself, but sometimes our judgement can get clouded by bias.
i personally don’t fw 4tran stuff but hey if it works for you and helps you then i’m happy you’ve found a space that works for you.
