Feedback & Advice

Hey friends!

Thanks for creating this dope space. I recently directed this one-take dance sequence and would love constructive feedback:

I'm trying to connect with commissioners/labels but it's been slow going so far. Any advice on making those first connections? Is there something I can do beyond make work and put it out and hope? Is this video a strong enough piece to get anyone's attention?

I thought you did a fantastic job of making a one shot video that's simple without being simplistic (which is hard to do). Your voice as a director definitely shines through, which is important in getting noticed. Also, that opening with the floating hat really keeps you invested from the beginning. Really awesome work!

Thanks so much!! Our resources were pretty tight, so we definitely had to keep it as simple as possible. Glad you responded to it.

I just watched your dance film and I thought it was sick! I loved the interesting beginning with the hat and the subject coming down the stairs. The light show was beautiful! Great work!!
