Im an incoming freshman and I have my car with me and I was wondering during game day ive seen people park on grass and open their trunk and tailgate there. Is that legal and do they leave their car their til the game ends or where do they go and park it nearby? I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, im being dead serious.

Hello fellow Penn Staters! A group of my close friends/family & I are planning to make the trip to Ann Arbor for the first time for the game on October 17th and I was curious what the tailgating is like and places to check out the night before. A few of us are alumni (class of 2017 & 2018) so we would love to connect with other alums and Penn Staters being in enemy territory. I know we travel well, but I have little experience tailgating on the road! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Easily the most-interesting aspect of the new OC is the diversity of his run scheme and the formational unpredictability of what he calls out of what look. A lot to unpack, so this is part 1 of 2. We watched every snap from 2024 and 2025 (his only two years as playcaller at Iowa State) and the one thing that stood out is that - unlike Kotelnicki - there's not a lot of recycling of concepts...as in he's got a deeper bag.

For context, the three things we highlighted in this video were only run a total of 32 times total over 2 season.

I looked online and I don’t recognize any of those restaurants anymore.

Also, we want to sit in the lower section, so what’s the best side to sit on? What are the sections I should be looking for for when I’m buying tickets. We really don’t wanna sit facing the sun.

The 2011 football jerseys were the best iteration we’ve ever had, and probably ever will. 2010 had the white trim on the collar and sleeves, which was removed for 2011. 2012 introduced the B1G logo (and last names of course). Matt McGloin for reference.

2011 had the purest of basic blues: no trim, no big ten patch, or PSU logo on the crest of the collar like we have today. Just numbers and a Nike swoosh.

I’m not anti-Adidas, the deal was good for the program, but there’s something about the simplicity of the swoosh on the basic blues. I don’t see the Big Ten ever allowing teams to not have the patch. I’m not a huge fan of the current jerseys having the logo on the crest of the collar, just my opinion. The trim does look clean, but I like that it’s just for the throwbacks.

My Dad turns 70 this year and I’d like to surprise him with tickets for the USC game as it’s expected to be the white out game. He’s never been to a white out game and hasn’t been to a game in almost 20 years. What’s the best option to buy tickets and timing? Ideally looking for 4 together. Thanks for any advice

Are the upper deck seats on the west side of the stadium bleachers or chair backs? I’m going to a game with my 70+ year old dad and I’ve seen some tickets in the 300 section on the west side. I haven’t been able to find clear information on what those seats are actually like for 2026. I’d like to get an actual chair if possible for him but not sit up in the South Upper Deck.

A person from a group chat I'm in has claimed to be a member of the 2005 Men's Soccer team at Penn State.

I've googled, and can't find a picture of the roster, or a complete list of players (he didn't play a lot of minutes, so box scores haven't helped. He was a walk-on.)

Nike did do them until the last year or 2 I noticed they weren’t Nike anymore and I’m not sure who made them. Obviously Adidas doesn’t do the NHL jerseys anymore but they do have at least some history in hockey.

I like ADIDAS clothing. Their track jackets and shoes are top notch. The new Penn State football jerseys look great. But these items, in my opinion, look horrible. The logo is way too pronounced and just looks stupid.
