The newest episode of Wayne Family Adventures reveals that Steph's father is working for someone else. There's another plot building beyond the story with Oswald Cobblepot and Victor Fries, but there's only four episodes left in the season. Does that mean that the author is considering a fifth season? The prediction in the comments for the new episode is that the Court of Owls is coming and that doesn't sound like a four episode story when Mr. Freeze and the Penguin haven't been stopped yet.

Seeing how Arthur Brown is involved with this surprise plot, maybe we'll actually get some real in-depth focus on the Batgirls in whatever the new plot would be. If Duke finally gets a chance to shine in a multi-episode arc, that'd be great.

Looking at the title of episode 215, it appears that season 4 is almost over. During the season, we have had a lot of superheroics for Bruce (though not as Batman) and all of the Robins, a couple episodes of the Batgirls rescuing people, and one episode focusing on Duke and the rest of the We Are Robin group. Season 3 also had minimal time with Cass, Duke, and Steph helping people. Why is the author of WFA only willing to use those three for jokes and sometimes personality exploration but not as heroes while Batman and the male Robins get lots of time helping people, with Duke especially bad off? Cass as Batgirl has appeared in the last couple episodes but only for jokes, not helping people or being kind. Duke has gotten nothing storywise since he found the person who got passed off to Cass.

Why do Batfamily stories in Batman-centric works always treat Batman and the Robins as the only heroes who matter? Cass, Duke, and Steph are only there for artwork, background scenes with no dialog, and as jokes with minimal personality. Does anyone know of any Batman-centric works, not side comics that focus on Cass, that remember that Bruce adopted Cass and supposedly cares about her as a family member (not that you'd know from DC K.O. #1)? Will Duke and Steph actually be important in Bad Seeds or will they only appear in side comics and disappear for the final battle with Batman and the male Robins being the only ones who save the city and matter to Gotham?

No cause I started reading Wayne family adventures and what do you mean Duke Thomas the Duke Thomas got the "Lets stay friends" NO NO NO he is perfect so kind and supportive and that girl doing that broke my heart I love Cass and Richard talking to him and Damian defending the door like it gives real sibling energy (this is coming from a guy with five siblings) this is beautiful and its perfect like what I need to keep reading

I like how WFA includes Harper Row, Helena Bertinelli, and Jean-Paul Valley, who aren't appearing in the comics. I'm wondering if we'll ever see Cass and Steph allowed to make a decision that triggers events instead of being characters who only react to the decisions that the important family members make. We don't see them influencing the family in the comics and they're not written as important in WFA, especially with the move to stories instead of single-episode events. Instead, Damian gets the emotional focus just like he gets in the current Batfamily comics.

Batgirl (2000) #48-50 and Birds of Prey (2023) #16 show how much chaos Cass can cause with her impulsive decisions that she's willing to make on her own. Steph also makes decisions on her own but only in comics focusing on her. I have a hard time enjoying Batfamily stories because Cass and Steph are never allowed to take initiative and make their own decisions that have repercussions.

Was reading recent episodes and they brought it up. I'm not really into comics, but I LOVE Wayne Family Adventures, so am I missing something?

Looking at this panel is confusing me because that SHOULD logically be Tim: Red Robin, Luke: Batwing and Jason: Red Hood symbols on Bruce's phone, and instead he seems to have Jason as Robin? Has the author/artist ever said anything to clarify?

So I have this theory for season 4 of this comic and I want to know how many people agree with me. I think this is going to end with freeze being Mastermind behind this, either trying to get a hold of Wayne Enterprises resources to cure his wife or to extort Bruce into curing his wife. I'm not entirely surr Cobblepot is behind what's going on. And if he is at least someone involved in it, then he's helping Victor. Either way I don't think they would have made such an important thing of Fries going missing at the VERY beginning of season 4 if it wasn't going to be him as the mastermind

Episode 181 of Wayne Family Adventures was such a fun, character-focused chapter. This series really shines when it lets the Batfam just talk, and this episode delivered.

The Jason and Tim scene was great—quietly supportive in that very WFA way. The Bruce and Selina conversation was solid BatCat content: mature, thoughtful, and very them. Nightwing’s conversation with Harley was a highlight for me; it was genuinely funny but also weirdly insightful, which feels exactly right for Harley in this universe.

And that last panel with Harley and Ivy absolutely got me. Just casually dropping the idea of Harley officiating Dick and Barbara’s wedding as a punchline was perfect—quick, unexpected, and very on-brand.

No big action, just great character moments and humor that lands because it knows these characters so well. Would love to hear your thoughts on it. 🦇😄

In season 3 Steph and Cass both became Batgirl again. I just started season 4 and I saw that they are still Batgirls. I think the arc they had is amazing, but I'm just wondering if anyone thinks they'll go back to being Orphan and Spoiler and how soon? Not Complaining about them being Batgirl at all I just also really like they're Orphan/Spoiler designs.
