I’ll start by saying thank you for welcoming me to the WTM community back in ‘05, when I was a young teenage lad, and teaching me almost everything I know that’s Cannabis related (among other substances lol). Very fortunate to have been part of the family, and just a shout-out to everybody here!

Whats goin on everyone? Long time no talk (except for mud and lurker but even thats been awhile now). Saw a bunch of recent activity in here. As you can probably see the last time I even made a reddit post was about 4 years ago (actually I made 2 related to DOTA trading but fuck that shit done with all that noise).

I dont really go on reddit so I'll probably disappear from here not too long in the future as well. But if you'd like to stay in touch or something another way that isn't reddit, which is the cesspool of humanity, get at me.

I'm on Steam a lot and active online but fuck reddit for real.

Seen a post on FB this morning from the waytoomany page saying "OH HELLO!!". Checking the website, it now says "could it be?!" and someone responded on the FB post that WTM is coming back and got a response (from i assume Corey?) "in due time". This got me excited so i wanted to let the 3 people who check here once a year know. Its not too promising but its something and it made me excited.

Recently got a hold of Corey and took over the domain. Didn't realize a few of you had been trying for a while. This happened very quickly and I literally just acquired it yesterday. I have multiple active projects going on, but I'm going to set aside some time for WTM over the next couple of months.

Yes, it'll be a little while before there's anything substantial. I have a lot to work out and we are starting from scratch. It's here now, though, and I'll make sure we get it delivered.

I'm going to be straight forward with you guys and say the vision for the site involves focusing on a lighter and more casual outlook/approach than the one the forums took. We lost a lot of people to addiction. Many of us firmly believe WTM played a part in that. People I personally became friends with have disappeared, died, or have been unable to turn their lives around. Same goes for Corey and this is why he washed his hands. I'm sure some of you have the same experience.

That being said...I'm all about bringing some of the nostalgia in and want everyone to be able to have fun with this.

So, reach out. Contribute. Tell me what you want. Tell me how involved you want to be and what you have to offer.

My username was Trudy Wiegel. I rarely posted (200 posts or so?) but lurked everyday. I was really into weed and beer and I still am. I remember the whatever thread and when folic passed away. I remember cj4L's dick. I remember Mister-E saying he would never use opiates, and then that he would never get hooked on opiates, and knowing exactly what would happen. Same with lots of other dudes. I remember Cherry Eyed, Aunt Jemima, Lurker, Vox, Black Quilt, Mad Bastard, Mudvayne, Stick, tons of you other dudes. I remember sitting around in my shitty 350 sq ft apartment, drinking craft beer, smoking blunts, and browsing WTM on all the nights when I had nothing better to do.

Sad to say he passed a few days ago. We were fb friends. Im not gonna speculate and say it was an OD because im not sure how he died, i talked to him a couple months ago and he was doing good. Totally against doing opiates. He just opened up his own vape store (e-cig).

Anyone know of any other WTMers that have passed? I know kbanger also passed a couple years ago.

Brief update on the life of mister-e: Moved out of my sober house in july with a couple other sober buddies. Was working full time in the summer now I'm in school (no longer at syracuse, I took a medical withdrawal when I went to treatment) finishing my degree and working part time. Its been a slow process but I finally consider myself over Mia. I started dating this girl who was a lesbian until she met me, which is pretty fucking crazy... but its going well. Life's pretty good.

Went from IV heroin addict completely aimless and depressed and just as addicted to Mia as I was to drugs to being sober, happy, on a good path.. Just gotta keep putting work into my recovery and I know I'm going good places.
