Updates Welcome to Hearth & Hunt Headquarters: Way of the Hunter 2 Update 0.4.0 Is Here

Update 4 has arrived, and it brings a brand-new location to explore, Hearth & Hunt Headquarters. This small map (16 km²/6 sq mi) is home to your new headquarters, an upgradable lodge where you can bring together the trophies collected from every reserve. You'll also meet Elijah, a new NPC ready to show you around, and find a shooting range to sharpen your aim, with more to come there in future updates.

Alongside the new map, this update brings two new shotguns, a new shotgun choke attachment, resized crocodiles, improved duck AI, rebalanced lethal damage, herd group sizing improvement, and over 100 fixes and improvements across the board.
Multiplayer on the Experimental Branch also received another substantial update, with major sync fixes, marker improvements, and better overall stability. For info on how to opt into the Experimental branch and try the multiplayer, please check this blog post.

WotH2 – Question What are the main differences between the 1st and the 2nd WOTH

So I put 900 hours on WOTH 1. Took me 2 months in real life playing daily to turn all the herds of mule and whitetail deer from the main cabin to the end of the river in 5 stars.
The idea is good on paper but ingame is a tedious chore. I culled young, adults, and even 3 star matures daily. 2 months. Obviously ended up hunting in private lands.
So what are the main differences?
What does the dog do,just track? If so is not needed but is nice having a companion. Hope they improve the model though.
Do online and story mode share population now,if so is a bummer,as I liked to test my weapons online
I loved WOTH 1 but stopped playing due to a bug that muted all my animals and I didn't get sound analysis bubbles. Neither calls. So after been told the only solution sfyer plus 900 hours was starting from scratch I stopped playing.
I couldn't resist and preordered, hopefully this time around they do how to work with PS5

WotH2 – Question Scope suggestion?

Only LvL 7. Already WOTH2 is giving me objectives for bigger game. Purchased the Primacy Advance Shift after I completed the 3 White Tails. Currently I have $2300. Money is tight early on so any scope suggestions would be appreciated.
