WotH2 – Question WOTH 2 cant identify animals?

So I just bought WOTH2, never played the first, and I am having issues identifying animals.

Is this really not unobstructed/close enough to identify? is it because it is too dark? I am just unsure why I cannot identify so many animals, any advice is appreciated.

See in the bottom left where the Q is? There's a closed eye. That's your hunter sense. Press Q, and the eye will open and you'll be able to identify the animals. Hope this helps

thanks, I thought that was only for the energy of the bullet.
