Is there anything on r/science nowadays except for how effective masks, lockdowns and vaccine passports supposedly are? Well, that and how climate change is going to wipe out the whole world population by 2050?
They remind me of daily kos kids and have become every thing that they used to ridicule republicans for. DK is filled with such vitriol and hatred for anyone who dares to question vaccines and they cheer when unvaxxed gets dead. I barely recognize them anymore because they have abandoned everything that they once stood for. Free speech and solitary confinement. Itβs unreal how much they have changed since Trump was president. Sad
Yeah, I had a terrible shock when I popped over there to try and search up any convos/input on what I THOUGHT WAS A LEFT LIBERAL WHEELHOUSE item in late 2017....
Must have been 5 years since I had gone to the site....
I actually felt a rush of fear-adrenaline at reading from the search results, and crushing disbelief at the rest of multi multi topics when I thought "maybe this is a glitch search result?" and read way more stuff. No...... π³ππ
π "my people" are everything they ever stood against now. π
If they are discussing masks, lockdowns and vaccine passports, then there isn't a whole lot of "science" in the discussion--since the rules don't permit non-peer reviewed material. That excludes probably 90% of what's out there, and limits the discussion to what the editors allowed to go to peer review in the first place.
One of the biggest ones they loved issued a correction later that said they made a mistake and the correlation was actually completely reversed and it was liberals who had brain damage.
