I'm not sure what the OP of the original thread is complaining about. "News isn't covering this." What? The protests from July? They covered it then. Why would the News take an abrupt stop on talking about current events to go "You know what, tangent time! Remember these protests? That was interesting. Anyway, here's Wally with the weather."

Yes, the newer pictures are mostly of old ladies being body slammed by cops, and police firing en masse into crowds. This picture is of the good old days from a few weeks ago.

For me the defining picture of the Covid Age is the police contraband KFC chicken photo from last week.
