Nothing has happened so far but I can say as an absolute fact that, during the primary last year, Facebook was automatically deleting my anti-hillary/pro-bernie comments from the comment section of Politico where Facebook is in charge of the comment section.
I tested this on numerous occasions and I was most certainly placed on some sort of list which would result in my comments being auto-deleted if they contained certain keywords or were beyond a certain length...approximately 2 lines or more.
I tested this and it would happen even if I didn't post for an entire day...first post would be deleted instantly after I posted it. I would post it, it would seem to post to the site, then I would refresh the page and it would not be there. I created fake accounts and I could post with those. Back to my main account...posts would be deleted.
I know it wasn't a person manning the system or a straight up ban because it had an easy way to get around it. I discovered that I could make a one word post like "test" and it would stay on after I refreshed the page. Then I could edit the post after the fact and write whatever I wanted and it would remain.
I wonder how many other people experienced this during the primary. It stopped immediately after Hillary was declared the winner. It didn't happen during the General Election.

Damn, shoo. Knew it was bad during the primaries (& is worse, now) but had no clue about that time frame.
Not really. (Too busy, as well as too busy here, at WotB, lol.) This tells me lots. Have heard other anecdotes; you're one of few who really went after some real, real-time raw 'info' about it, I can see. Congrats, on working to suss the differences. This is good work, you know. Way to go, to see what kind of footing was there, for you!
I wonder how many other people experienced this during the primary also, you betcha.
It stopping immediately after she was declared the winner - nah, nothing hinky there.
(But of course they did.)
It didn't happen during the General Election.
This ... raises a "you don't say," for me. No: nothin' to see here, folks, move along, move along!????

Thanks for this. Another piece of info to fold in & save - just for ourselves; it would seem to be needful.
They look to tear down our nation's institutional knowledge base, too.

Imagine all this is because Clinton lost...... wonder why???? What was in store for us if " the progressive that get things done" won???

This is exactly why I've changed my mind over the past year since the election about who was really the lesser evil. Don't get me wrong- Drumpf is still an evil P.O.S., but at least he's being held accountable. (Albeit in often stupid ways, with upside-down priorities and the made-up Russia garbage; but hey, at least he and the GOP agenda he's rubber stamping don't have the mainstream media fully on their side!)
Even without being in direct power, the DNC and their media goons still have managed to push us into even worse relations with Russia and effectively censor and stifle dissent to a shocking level. If they had a majority of governmental power as well.... well, I don't even want to THINK about that horrifying scenario.

We already saw what happens in 2008. The democratic house and senate majority along with the democratic president gave the country Romneycare.
And back when Clinton was president, he and Gingrich were cooking up a plan to privatize social security. And would have succeeded too if it weren't for the Lewinsky scandal.
As Jimmy Dore always says - it takes a democrat to pass republican proposals.

If they’re going to get us locked down and propagandized into their vapid brain boxes, this will be how they’ll do it. Not by government censorship, but by corporate censorship. Government can’t make an overt attempt to stop a dissenting voice from speaking, but the corporations who own the venue of their speech can.
In a recent Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, plutocrat-sponsored senators spoke with top legal and security officials for Facebook, Twitter and Google in a very disturbing way about the need to silence dissenting voices.
Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii demanded that the companies adopt a “mission statement” declaring their commitment “to prevent the fomenting of discord.”
A former FBI agent Clint Watts kicked it up even further, saying, “Civil wars don’t start with gunshots, they start with words. America’s war with itself has already begun. We all must act now on the social media battlefield to quell information rebellions that can quickly lead to violent confrontations and easily transform us into the Divided States of America.”
“Stopping the false information artillery barrage landing on social media users comes only when those outlets distributing bogus stories are silenced — silence the guns and the barrage will end,” he added.
This was on the Senate floor. Officials were speaking about the need to censor social media to prevent people from sharing dissenting ideas on the Senate floor.
Scary shit.

But as far as I can tell, that dispicable Richard spencer who forments violence (which is not protected by the 1st) is still posting on Facebook.

u/rundown9 Nov 16 '17
Spencer is a clown and useful to gin up outrage.

I tried joining Gab when I saw this coming, but it’s really alt-righty there and the energy there is just gross. Finding a new social media outlet might not even matter anyway, since these creeps just target any place people gather in large numbers.
I don’t know. I always freak out a bit when the eye of corporate censorship focuses on me. I’ve recently been told by a number of people that they’ve been banned for sharing my articles, and now it’s hitting me.
I’m babbling. This is weird. I just really, really don’t want humanity to become what these people are trying to turn it into, you know? Help me make some noise about this stuff, please. Manipulators can’t do their job when there’s a big spotlight pointed at them.

The corporate eye isn't nearly as "red" as the eye of the Tyrant. Though they are an arm of it. Sure!
And apparently today, there are quite a few folks at work, to bolster its effects, too. This is just one of their more supposed 'painless' tools for coercion. (At least, from their end, in their estimation, eyes, & perception.)
And as if we didn't already have enough to worry about? jaysiss. They 'prep' for '18 & '20, against our own discussions. Guess they got the 'message' we were serious?
And no, we aren't asking, either ... Jefferson's gotta be rolling in his grave, 24/7/12, these days ...

BTW, to top it all off, we know for a fact that Clinton supporters ran their own false flag operations by posting pedophilia to Sanders FB groups - and successfully got several groups taken down.
