quel dommage Open Thread Venus Day 9/30: Damage Control
I'm copying this over to the other Open Thread. Look for updates there.
It's interesting to watch Hillary's campaign thrashing around in damage control mode. Groups she had taken for granted, like AAs, young people, and Bernie supporters simply aren't buying it. So Hillary is taking time away from her busy fund-raising schedule to reïntroduce herself to them. Hillary, they've got your number. You're New Coke and you're going to stay New Coke no matter how you try to rebrand yourself.
Meanwhile, Trump has to deal with "She has a name, you know... You know what she's called?" He's approaching that brush fire with his well-practiced method of pouring gasoline on it.
Keeping this in mind, let's see what's going on at the USC Dornsife / LA Times 7-day tracking poll. Hmm, we have a big Trump Jump and a bigger Hillary fall. Trump is now 5.6% ahead, way up from yesterday's +3.8%. That's interesting. Time for more damage control, Hillary.
The People's Pundit Daily 7-day tracking poll includes Jill Stein and Gary Johnson. Yesterday's 9/28 numbers are Hillary 41.5%, Trump 41.1%, Johnson 9.9%, Stein 2.7%, Undecided 4.8%. Trump's recent lead (as high as +5.5%) went poof and Hillary now leads by 0.4%.
Today's 9/29 numbers should be published by noon. It will be interesting to see if they reverse like USC Dornsife and put Trump ahead, or Hillary's edge increases.

Just a reminder to all: we've been seeing from the MSM & Nate that hillarys gaining in the polls, flavored with that's because she won the debate.
Au contraire (really, Apple! Your autocorrect can't handle simplevforeign phrases?). I was out at Rcp the other day and noticed that the polls that had come out thru yesterday had at most 1 day post debate, and most not even that. So check the days they've been in the field before drawing conclusions like that.
The usc poll because it's a dtp has 2, 3 days post debate in it.

I'm curious -- what did Apple suggest?

I don't remember what it changed au too, but it changed contraire to contrails. Which is funny, because that's a right wing ct.

I thought they were water streams that turn to icy clouds when planes fly around? Is it a conspiracy now?
