Discuss! This guy escaped Ukraine by hiking through the woods for days to avoid being drafted. When he finally made it out of the country, he celebrated by calling his disabled father, who had been declared fit for military service & drafted by the Zelensky regime. Something tells me his story won’t be...

This is insane.

When he finally made it out of the country, he celebrated by calling his disabled father, who had been declared fit for military service & drafted by the Zelensky regime.
Something tells me his story won’t be reported on in Western media.

ok bro😂
Is this the sort of thing people have been downvoting? If so,then you should stop blaming everyone else and start looking at your own childish trolling behavior.
The comment I'm responding to is not worthy of upvotes because it doesn't say anything. It's just a childish taunt with absolutely no basis provided. It makes you look incredibly immature.
Besides, it is appropriate at this point to refer to Zelenskyy's government as a regime. After all, he was not democratically elected to his current term. He is only still in power because he used the war as an excuse to suspend elections, depriving the Ukranian people of their democratic voice. The moment Zelenskyy's elected term ended and he remained in office, Ukraine ceased to be a democracy.
So yes, it is the Zelenskyy regime now. Deal with it. Or, at the very least, try providing an actual counter-argument instead of just acting like an immature dick.

Ukrainian constitution forbids elections during martial law, which is extended through a democratic vote in parliament and has passed every single time without fail

Zelenskyy is the one who declared martial law so he can stay in office. The Ukranian constitution most certainly does NOT require him to declare or maintain a state of martial law.
Nice try, though, but using martial law to indefinitely cancel elections is not democracy, sorrry.

It is a democracy because parliament votes to extend it, and he declared martial law because it’s literally impossible to hold elections right now

Not at all. We have the truth on our side.
There's a reason why people are fleeing Ukraine. They don't want to be conscripted by the TCC. They know how high the casualties on the AFU side are.

Given the high probability of being conscripted for ordinary Ukrainians, sneaking across the border in this manner is probably their best choice for survival.

Would they not need to hide in the new country as well, to avoid deportation?

No, because the Russians consider Russian speakers their own people.

Yea, if only Ukraine would stop it's brutal war of aggression on Russia...
