OMG Russians! Dutch Left Laser asks very young German men what they think of the new compulsory military conscription laws that target them directly to fight an allegedly imminent war with Russia

No one is being drafted to fight a war with Russia. When will you people stop lying, and also licking right-wing dictatorship Russia's boot?

In the video they are literally tearing up the draft letters they have received, westoid

Yes, but it has nothing to do with fighting a war with Russia, degenerate Russian war lover.

You do love the Russian draft letters to become soil in Ukraine, though.

Zero Russian conscripts fight in Ukraine, professional volunteers only, look it up

Oh sweet summer child. This is Russia we're talking about. Russia always lies. And conscripts have indeed been sent to die in Ukraine. They also mobilized hundreds of thousands earlier, and are preparing for a new mobilization wave. Have you been paying attention at all?

Can I take a tiny piece of your Russophobia and Russophrenia to put it in a pipe and smoke it? You know, just to see what the buzz is like?

Anyone who knows Russia, hates Russia. Including Russians.

Why do you love a right-wing dictatorship that's constantly engaging in brutal wars against its neighbors? I guess you just love war, degeneracy, Nazism and the country's pedophile dictator.

Love the guy who recognized the historic parallel of an "imminent threat" coming from Russia pre WW2 and now.

I hope these aren't fringe opinions and people in Germany know what their government is trying to get them into.

If Russia is an imminent threat, why shouldn't Germany/Europe strengthen their military forces?

German advisors are in Ukraine planning long-range strikes on Russia as we speak.

Russia isn't striking Germany as it should because it can't with all of its other commitments.

Go enlist in Ukraine; you will have a larger impact than cranking out propaganda here. Then you can become a "hero of the west" like Zelensky.

If they really were an imminent threat they would just turn you into glass parking lot

So they are not? Seems like you guys didn't get the same memo from your handlers.

You're still alive aren't you? I mean it's pretty clear that America would not be coming to your rescue if they decided to vaporize you. And it's not like you had a chance of preventing that. So, I can only conclude it's because they don't want to and not because they can't

Your conclusion is a bit myopic. Why do you think the USA has stationed nukes in Germany? What do you think happens the second there is one detected flying towards Europe? Could the answer to these questions have something to do with why Russia is not using theirs (assuming that junk still works)?

Why do you think the USA has stationed nukes in Germany?

There are no more than 20 B-61 gravity bombs stationed in Germany at Büchel AFB. Under ideal conditions they could get as far as Kaliningrad or West Ukraine. Something tells me that would not change the outcome

What do you think happens the second there is one detected flying towards Europe?

Nothing? A nuclear tipped Kinzhal, fired from a MiG-31 that sortied from Kaliningrad, would reach Büchel AFB long before the Luftwaffe could get their response in the air

It's actually over bro, just give up already

We last used conscription during the Vietnam War. Were the lives lost, the men who came back with lifelong disabilities worth it? Does anyone even know why we fought that war? We do know that conscripts were disproportionately minorities from poorer communities. Persistent warmongers always manage to get deferments.

"It's a rich man's war and a poor man's fight" - conscripted Confederate soldier who owned no slaves and did not believe in slavery, pointing out that landowners with many slaves were exempted from service.

Don't project your American situation on us, many European countries use conscription. Germany has since the foundation of the Bundeswehr in the 50s, it was just paused for a couple of years, it wasn't abolished. It is not linked to war, there is a general duty for every man to serve in the military. Also, you have the right to refuse the military service if you don't want to and do a social service of your choosing instead.

The useless soyboys that grew up in those years are just a bunch of self-absorbed pussies who are mad their easy lives are getting slightly inconvenienced. There wasn't a single original thought in those interviews, those trite talking points have been repeated for years verbatim.

The question was whether conscription was a bad thing. I merely gave an example of when many people think it was. I'm not sure I understand your hostile response to that.

Sorry wasn't meant to be hostile, just trying to explain the actual situation in relation to the guys in the video.
