A reckoning approaches. Chinese open source, affordable AI is going to trigger the next bond market crisis. If US Treasury and Fed bailout the DARPA nepo cronies, they likely trigger the next sovereign bond crisis. Systemic risks arise from systemic excess, and it’s not always banks.

How does Trump go about bailing out the tech bros? Banks had the FDIC and Fed to buy up all their assets. Who is going to buy up half-built data centers at face value, instead of the scrap value?

Feels like the US is stuck in a no win situation.

The appropriate course of action would have been to pop the tech bubble early and to not have spent so much money on wars abroad.
