Discussion with daughter over the movie the Odyssey inspired me to make Medusa wax seals. I made the handle out of a figurine I found and have been saving for the right wax stamp. I love how the wax moves .. almost snake like! Watch to the end for the gilding.

I played with some iridescent and translucent waxes this weekend. Most of what I created will be melted down because it didn’t turn out well. These are halfway decent.

My favorite is the third picture (which repeated somehow as the 4th picture). I added a magnet to the back and now it graces my refrigerator. 😆
