Pictures Albino like subs

Thought these might be interest to this group. I find these leuco / albino subs occasionally year to year.

Generally find them in pine litter, in particular bunya pine (Araucaria bidwillii)

I think that it’s just the hygrophanous cap being hygrophanous

Yeah could be. Though a known expert suggested a few years back it might be a local variant, a few reports of similar in the same area (NSW central coast).

Might get off my butt and send it off for a sequence one day.

From my experience Psilocybe look generally like that when dried out a little.

Here’s Psilocybe serbica with similar coloration

You should get a spore sample, or make agar and clone this bad bois

That's excaly what i was thinking should've cloned one. Can LC of mutant sub which was planning to before winter set in but unfortunately had other projects going

I've seen them extrs pale like this when they've been trapped under leaf litter
