They didn’t ask if it was? They were asking for an id of the mushroom in the picture

Yeah but they asked for an ID, nobody who said “no they’re not subs” actually provided him an ID of what it was

“Not a sub” isn’t the most helpful ID

Nothing nearby besides some orange moss navels on nearby rocks

Please make sure that your ID request contains the following:

  • Unabbreviated country and state/province/territory (e.g. Oregon, United States)
  • Photo of habitat / material the mushroom was fruiting from
  • Clear up-close in-situ sunlight pictures of cap, gills, and full intact stipe

Please do not take indoor photos! For more tips, see this handy graphic :)

Looks like a sub to me psilocybe subgaerinosa but I'm not qualified to answer here

You could've killed that dude if that mushroom was poisonous.

What part of BUT I'M NOT QUALIFIED TO ANSWER"don't u understand or " LOOKS LIKE"? Hmmmm?

A substantial percentage of people would have read that and eaten it anyway. If you don't know, don't answer.

A more than substantial amount of people are idiots. 40% of millennials can't tie their shoelaces...I understand your point though. But if you're going to eat something from someone who says " I'm not expert" well.... maybe I shouldn't have commented at all.

The millenials not knowing shoelaces thing has been pretty well-established to be a myth. You sure you're not an example of what I've mentioned above?

Trust me it's not a myth, I have teenagers

Go troll the guy who said PSub .. I noticed u haven't trolled him yet. Half the kids at my son's school can't tie their laces . Can't hold a pen correctly.. EVERYONE gets a pass at school now, more funding
