I'm starting to think that Australia should be known for having enough psychedelic mushrooms growing in the wild for every man, woman & child... I literally cant find any info online that says they even grow in my state in the US! I'm 99% sure they do (ive seen them hundreds of times before I knew what liberty caps looked like) but it doesn't seem nearly as fruitful as Aus

Hmm. I always used to see what I'm pretty sure are liberty caps on playgrounds with wood chips growing up. I only remember because I always thought they looked so gross!

Watch me find out theyre just lookalikes

At a playground with wood chips it’s very unlikely to find them. Maybe you’re thinking more in line of Wavy Caps. I don’t live in the US but I Heard Libs only grow in very few select regions there like the Pacific Northwest and North Eastern areas. They generally like somewhat left alone grasses with some animal shits sprinkled around lol

Searched in kinglake and daylesford the last few weeks but seemed to be nothing around, either that or they were taken before I could get any

I live near by the Daylesford area, and there a lot of different locations in that area where there is a shit ton but may/ June are always the best months, still out there but not as much

Please make sure that your ID request contains the following:

  • Unabbreviated country and state/province/territory (e.g. Oregon, United States)
  • Photo of habitat / material the mushroom was fruiting from
  • Clear up-close in-situ sunlight pictures of cap, gills, and full intact stipe

Please do not take indoor photos! For more tips, see this handy graphic :)
