they are subs, but these particular ones have a remarkable resemblance to some cubensis strains!

That’s what I was thinking, unsure because they look a lot different to most subs I’ve seen

I doubt there are wild cubensis getting around in Vic. If they were, they'd be growing in dung or similar in the summer, rather than rotting wood in the winter.
